Prescott Hill Climb

Social Media Experience

During my internship at Prescott Speed Hill Climb, as part of a two-person team, I have been responsible for the club's social media output.

We looked to modernise the content with more graphics as opposed to standard images and made sure to write engaging copy to go with every post.

I have become familiar with scheduling sites like Hootsuite in order to manage content output throughout the course of a week. Also, I was responsible for writing numerous email newsletters for club members, so used MailChimp in order to compose and distribute weekly emails.

A Thank You To Our Volunteers

It's been a successful season at Prescott this year, despite the circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

We've hosted a range of events over the last couple of months, including the Reopening Meeting, Championship Meeting, Vintage Prescott - The Long Course and last weekend's season finale.

None of this would've been possible without the continued support and dedication of our volunteers, who ensured everything ran smoothly in extremely difficult circumstances.

Drivers in the New Barn, Henney's and BOC All-comers Championships faced tough conditions throughout the day as rain persisted, creating heavy wet conditions on the hill, but that didn't stop any action.

Eynon Price finished the day with the fastest time in his Force TA with a time of 44.10, who was closely followed by Matthew Ryder for the second fastest time of the day on 44.

The overall best time of the day was achieved by Nicholas Topliss with 49.41 seconds in his ERA R4D.

This was closely followed by Ian Baxter with a time of 49.94 seconds driving his ALTA 61 I.S Single Seater.

Prescott hosts first competitive event of the year with reopening meeting

We had a fantastic day on the hill as competitive action returned for the first time since October 2019.

With the sun shining and only a few showers throughout the day, we welcomed a great mix of cars back to Prescott as the 2020 calendar got underway on Saturday afternoon.

After a morning of practice, the drivers lined up in the paddock and finally took to the famous track, recording some impressive runs.

Competition returns to Prescott with Reopening Meeting

The Bugatti Owners Club are delighted to welcome the return of competitive events at Prescott tomorrow with the Reopening Meeting, the first of our 2020 calendar.

Since our last event in October 2019, the global Covid-19 pandemic forced the closure of the hill and suspension of all competition โ€“ but Saturday August 22 is lining up to be a historic day as we welcome our members back for the first time.

Despite running with a reduced number of cars, we are pleased to have strong entry numbers in
